This exquisite new product met with acclaim by all who saw it. Pierre Balmain Swiss Watches has completely redesigned the case and the dial opening for this new creation: with the new Amphora they are offering a magnificent rectangle of steel with either a guilloché decoration or set with diamonds, the dial opening having the stylised shaped of an amphora. STRAIGHT LINES AND SLEEK CURVES FOR A TRULY CONTEMPORARY UNISEX DESIGN Pierre Balmain Swiss Watches have brought a breath of fresh air into Swiss watch design through their original design which is still linked to a Parisian world where the aim is to astonish and seduce every 6 months. After launching its Excessive model, which was already considered extremely bold, the brand is now demonstrating its apparently unlimited talents with the new Amphora. The case of this new watch is indeed astonishing: a rectangle of steel of generous proportions (25.5 x 38 mm) whose surface is either guilloché or set with 126 brilliants and whose polished profile boasts a double curve. This frame serves to enhance an amphora-shaped opening for the dial after which the model is named. The glass merges perfectly into the overall shape and a deep flange gives the effect of magical depths. With this new design of opening, Balmain’s famous dials have been completely overhauled and also given an amphora shape: arabesques with Roman numerals decreasing in size, or mother-of-pearl with Arabic numerals also decreasing in size. The steel bracelet is equally exquisite and innovative: Pierre Balmain Swiss Watches have gone beyond polished or satin-finish steel, or a combination of both, to create a bracelet made up of long, guilloché-worked links where the polished gleam of the profiles enhances and complements the mat surfaces.
