And then there is one that is round but not round:
the new Rado 'Cerix'.
A combination of circle and square results in a
completely new design. Unaligned, the two bracelet sections move away from the
case and encircle the wrist in the form of a spiral. An entirely different
watch. An entirely different wearing sensation. Time has taken on a new form.
Fascinated by the unending flow of Time, Rado
designers have used the inspiration of endlessness of form – the spiral. A watch
has been born that is unique and different in every respect. Apart from its new
form, the 'Cerix' entrances with its interplay of colours: black and metallic
grey start their courses at the bracelet clasp and find union in the watch dial.
Two elegant hands round off the harmonious design. A diverting detail: the watch
crown is located at 2 o'clock, thus inventively underlining the unusual form.
The case and bracelet of the Rado 'Cerix' are made from high-tech
ceramics. Hence the name of the watch: a combination of 'ceramics' and 'helix'
(Greek: spiral). The upper surface of the watch is protected from edge to edge
by scratchproof sapphire crystal, meticulously ground and polished. The form of
the spiral is reiterated in the case back, which is also made from sapphire
crystal. And the folding clasp in titanium is just as skin-friendly as the
sapphire crystal and the high-tech ceramics. The new Rado 'Cerix' is available
