Whether an avid motor boater or a sailing enthusiast, the Regatta offers a multitude of useful functions in one compact instrument. Regatta's features include a regular timepiece, chronograph functions, an electronic compass as well as a sailing timer especially designed to meet the timing function requirements before and during a tough race.

The sailing timer of the Regatta has been developed together with some of the top sailors in the world, with experience from the Whitbread Around the World Race to the World Championships. The timer allows the user to choose the time to be counted down to the start from 10 minutes to 1 minute by the minute, depending on what signals are given in that particular race. The user can at any time adjust the countdown timer to the closest full minute: very useful for example when checking the 5-minute signal. A beep at every minute and every 10 seconds during the last minute alerts the user to the up-coming start. The last 10 seconds an audible signal is heard every second. When the countdown is completed, a stopwatch will automatically start running. The range of the stopwatch is 120 hours, i.e. five days. The stopwatch stores up to fifty waypoints for one race, which can be viewed after the race. The electronic compass is a great tool for direction taking for any boater. It shows you your bearing and cardinal or half-cardinal point, a North-South arrow, and features a bearing tracking function which displays locked bearing, actual bearing and the difference between the two. Regatta also allows for declination adjustment, and a bubble level indicates a level position to ensure +/- 3 degree reading accuracy. The rotating bezel ring with a ratchet at every five degrees is especially useful when memorizing wind direction before the start of a sailing race. The basic calendar clock of the Regatta is pre-programmed to the year 2089, has 3 daily alarms and a regular countdown timer. In addition, Regatta also features dual time. No matter what sea you're sailing, Regatta will tell you your home time as well as local time! The Regatta features the same easy-to-use logic as the Vector, a large display with big numerals, electroluminescent backlight as well as a user-replaceable battery.
