Sophisticated and technically unmatched, the stainless steel Sportura line-up features a sleekly futuristic look with lean Arabic numerals, deep-cut streamlined grooves, and a beautiful wrap from case to bracelet. The jet black and metallic white dials have the same high legibility as dashboard meters in a car built for speed, while the deft balance of hairline and mirror finishes optimises the visual punch that every model packs. The Sportura line-up brings together Seiko's greatest technologies: Kinetic Chronograph, Kinetic Auto Relay, Perpetual Calendar and Alarm Chronograph. The Kinetic Chronograph in particular showcases exceptional examples of quality craftsmanship: independently mounted watch hands, heartcam fly-back chronograph reset, backlash auto-adjust second hand, super-sealed movement, and instantaneous date change. Seiko Sportura, the sports watch for women The Sportura watches for women are designed to perform, any time and anywhere. The cases are cast from high-grade stainless steel, with screw backs for maximum protection. The glasses are all sapphire with an anti-reflection coating that ensures high legibility, and each model is 100 meter water resistant.
The secret is in the detail. Eight diamonds adorn each dial, the cases are sculpted to a smooth and rounded shape. And each has its own unique combination of dial colour and strap texture, with black, brown and white, whose dial is combining artfully with mother of pearl. The iconic 4 dial layout of the Kinetic Chronograph 9T caliber is retained, but the construction of the crystal above the dials is new and unique. Beneath the main domed sapphire crystal, each sub-dial has its own and entirely separate crystal in a design that was inspired by the headlight clusters now found on the world's leading sports cars. The case is carved from high-grade stainless steel with a black ion-plated ring between the case and glass. The dial surround, like the inset bracelet links, is made of the same carbon fiber as is used in the Honda F1 racing chassis, and the motor sport theme is completed by the see-through sapphire case back which reveals the remarkable Kinetic "engine" that drives the 7-hand movement.
