What Time Zone is Namibia Time in?
Standard Time is 1 hour ahead Greenwich Mean Time (GMT+1). Namibia is one hour ahead of GMT in the winter months, April to September, and two hours ahead of GMT from October to March.
Namibia has implemented daylight saving time. Winter time (one hour in advance of Greenwich Mean Time) applies from the first Sunday of April through May, June, July, and August to the first Sunday in September. Summer time (two hours in advance of Greenwich Mean Time), or Central African Time, applies from the first Sunday in September to the first Sunday of April.
During winter the time in Namibia is one hour behind that of its eastern neighbours (South Africa, Botswana, and Zimbabwe).
