The Croatian capital city of Zagreb is situated between the southern slopes of the Medvednica mountain and
the northern bank of the Sava river at an elevation of 120 m (400 Feet) above
sea level. Zagreb is located at 45°48′ north of the Equator and 15°58′ E
(east of Greenwich).
Zagreb houses Croatian central state administrative bodies and almost all
Croatian government ministries.
