Cathay Pacific History
Cathay Pacific was established in 1946, initially in Shanghai and then it was moved to Hong Kong. The company began to operate passenger flights to Manila, Bangkok, Singapore and Shanghai. In the 80s it expanded the international network to include London, Brisbane, Frankfurt, Vancouver, Amsterdam, Rome, San Francisco, Paris, Zurich and Manchester.
