Hanover Square, London, is a square in Mayfair,
London W1 just to the south west of the junction of
Oxford Street and
Regent Street.
Hanover Square stands at the junctions of Brook Street, Hanover Street, Harewood Place, St.
George Street and Tenterden Street
Hanover Square was developed in the early
18th century as a fashionable residential address. A few of the 18th century houses remain
largely intact but most of the square has been reconstructed in a
variety of periods.
Hanover Square is now almost entirely occupied by
offices, including the head office of the property professional
organisation,
Knight Frank and Vogue House the HQ of British Vogue.
