History
Helios Airways
was established in 1999. The following year, it operated the first charter
flight to London Gatwick. 2001 saw the first scheduled flight to Sofia, Bulgaria
and two years later,
Helios Airways
started flights to Dublin, Ireland. In December 2002,

launched direct flights to London Luton. One year later, it began operating
flights to Manchester and London Gatwick. In 2004
Helios Airways
launched direct flights to London Heathrow, Athens Thessaloniki and Warsaw.
