About Harry Ramsden
Harry Ramsden opened his first fish and chip shop in 1928, in a tiny wooden hut
in Guiseley, near Leeds. Just three years later, inspired by the sumptuous
interior of the Ritz Hotel in London, Harry built the largest and most elegant
fish and chip restaurant in the world.
Today, Harry Ramsden’s remains the number one name in fish and chips, with 190
outlets in the UK. Every year more than ten million customers enjoy Harry’s
famous fish and chips.
