GermanWings - The Company
Germanwings GmbH is a wholly owned subsidiary of Eurowings Luftverkehr AG. After “Köln Bonn Airport”, Stuttgart-Echterdingen has now also been a home airport for Germanwings since August 2003. GermanWings are currently flying 10 Airbus 319 or 320 airplanes from both of these locations to a total of 22 destinations throughout Europe.

GermanWings have done away with all the status symbols that our passengers are not dependent on: for example, we don't have First and Business Class categories. All GermanWings passengers fly at the same reasonable rates and in the same comfort.
GermanWings passengers book their flights themselves, quickly and simply via the Internet. That way, GermanWings save on travel agency fees, the costs for commissions and reservation systems and are able to pass these savings on to you.
Efficient planning ensures that GermanWings aircraft are booked up to full capacity. Passengers contribute to this success by means of the early booking savings system: you are rewarded with particularly attractive economy prices for committing yourself to an early booking on a certain flight.
