There is a Ground Transportation Desk in every terminal adjacent to Baggage Collection. There you will find leaflets (with coupons), telephones with information on car hire, hotels, taxis, limos, buses, trains and subway connections to central New York City or any destination.
Limos
Only a few dollars more than a taxi you can have a more comfortable ride in a town car, sedan or stretched limousine.
Ideally booked in advance via the Internet you can also book at the airport and they can usually arrive within a few minutes.

Taxis
The famous New York City taxis are in plentiful supply; there are fixed fares into Manhattan from the airports.
The queues might be long. Remember tolls & tips are extra. There is no extra charge for additional passengers.
