Probably the most recognized landmark of New York, has grown to represent freedom & democracy worldwide.

Visitors can visit Liberty Island by Circle Line boat either from ,Battery Park, Manhattan, New York City where there are long queues or from Newark, New Jersey.

Visitors can no longer go to the head of the statue - there are very limited number of time-tickets to visit the base.  Get there early - opens at 8am!

Boats also visit Ellis Island which is also a MUST!
