About Interiors by Decorating Den
Interiors by Decorating Den is the first affordable, international, shop-at-home
interior decorating service. Each franchisee is trained as an interior
decorator, and on how to market and manage a business. Franchisees are supported
by management centers strategically located throughout the United States, Canada
and the United Kingdom.
The company, founded in 1969, has the belief that interior decorating services
should be affordable. Approximately 70 percent of Interiors by Decorating Den’s
customers are dual-income married couples who find little time to shop for
interior decorating products. The franchise system was developed to permit a
person with an interest in interior decorating to become a part of a proven
system.
Franchise Investment
The initial franchise investment varies from country to country. In the U.S.,
the initial investment fee is $24,900, with financing available. The franchise
fee includes: business system, initial training, manuals, samples and account
set up with national suppliers.
Initial training consists of courses at the Interiors by Decorating Den
Lifestyle University. Following the initial training, continuing education
involves classroom work, home study, meetings, seminars and on-the-job
experience. Training never ends for professional decorators, and advanced
training continues throughout the franchise owner's career with Interiors by
Decorating Den.
