Rita's Water Ice Franchise Company, headquartered in Trevose, Pennsylvania,
is the largest Italian Ice concept in the US, currently operating in 17 states
with more than 500 stores. Rita's brand promise is Ice, Custard and Happiness!
The chain offers a variety of frozen treats including its famous Italian Ice,
Old Fashioned Frozen Custard, and layered Gelati, as well as its signature Misto
and Blendini creations. Rita's also offers Cream Ices for those who prefer a
treat that is smoother and richer than Italian Ice, but not as heavy as
traditional ice cream. Rita's was named one of the Top 25 Franchise High
Performers by the Wall Street Journal's 'Startup Journal.'
New Franchise Partners invest between $198,150 and $445,900 to open and
outfit a Rita's Water Ice franchise, which includes a one-time franchise fee of
$35,000. Development agreements are available.
For your investment, you will receive an equipment package to operate your
Rita's Italian Ice store and an 8 to 10 day training program which includes 6
days at the corporate headquarters training center and 2-4 days of opening
assistance at your new Rita's franchise location. During your training program,
you will receive an operations manual to help your store run smoothly and
efficiently. We also assist you in site location and lease negotiations. Upon
finding your location, we will visit your site and aid in the development of
your layout. Some of the most important items you will receive, along with our
quality product, are name recognition, ongoing support, a professionally managed
marketing program and a proven system where people care about their franchise
partners.
