About Tutoring Club
Tutoring Club is based in San Francisco Bay Area and was established in 1991. It began franchise activities in 1999.

The Tutoring Club founder and president, Lawrence H. Schwartz, created Tutoring Club to develop individualized instruction programs in reading, mathematics and writing for children in grades K-12. Tutoring Club is unique among learning systems in not only its methodology, but in its guarantee to raise each participating child’s academic level in less time and at lower cost than any other competing program.
There are currently 85 Tutoring Club franchises throughout the United States. Over the past few years, the company has introduced its TutorAid series to improve skills in core academic areas. These include Rx Reading, Amazing Math, and The Write Way. Through its TutorUp program, Tutoring Club also delivers individualized instruction in science, foreign language and high-school mathematics, and teaches basic learning skills such as note taking, outlining, time management and test preparation, including SAT instruction.
