About Volvo Rents
Volvo Rents centers are independently owned and operated franchises within the
Volvo Construction Equipment rental program. The program covers all aspects of
an operating rental business model and was designed and developed by Volvo
Construction Equipment Rents, Inc. Program features include use of the Volvo
brand, financial assistance, a fleet purchasing program for non-Volvo products,
a Volvo Rents proprietary software program, training, facility design and
regional and local marketing.
Volvo Rents began its equipment rental franchise initiative in 2001. The company
now has equipment rental centers open in Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia,
Florida, California, Tennessee, Ohio, South Carolina, Louisiana, New York,
Minnesota, Arkansas, New Jersey, Alabama, Kentucky, Illinois, New Mexico,
Washington, Pennsylvania, Texas, Mississippi, Maryland, Nevada, Arizona and
Canada. In addition to these operating franchises, the company has franchise
agreements under negotiation with other business interests seeking independently
owned and operated franchise opportunities in the equipment rental business. The
company is also expanding its operations in Europe.
