About Covenant College
More than 1,330 students from around the country and the world attend
Covenant, which is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and
Schools and governed by a board of trustees elected by the Presbyterian
Church in America.
The College was founded in 1955 and moved from St. Louis, Mo., to Lookout
Mountain, Georgia, in 1964.
Covenant offers a rigorous academic program in the Reformed Christian
tradition administered by more than 60 full-time faculty members.
Approximately 80 percent of its professors have earned doctoral degrees,
and nearly 65 percent of its graduates pursue graduate level studies.
The College strives to provide an excellent academic environment grounded
in a Christian worldview.
Covenant offers master of education, bachelor of arts, bachelor of music,
bachelor of science, associate of arts degrees, and several pre-professional
programs.
Quest, with nine locations from Cleveland, Tenn., to Fayetteville, Ga.,
is the College’s adult degree-completion program.
